Doldrums

Not a lot going on – it’s July in the Deep South, which means sailing weather ranges between hot and unbearable, with lots of afternoon thunderstorms.  The boat is still without a mainsail, but hopefully I’ll have the new one shortly.

Today I received the templates from Mauri Pro Sailing for the Strong Sail Track system, so I took a trip to the marina to measure the mast.

This past Saturday I motored out a mile or two and anchored just off of Fontainebleau State Park, where I spent an hour or so sponging off the hull.
